Arsenal Agree £75m Deal for Newcastle Captain Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal have agreed a £75 million fee with Newcastle United for captain Bruno Guimaraes, with the Brazilian midfielder granted permission to travel for a medical ahead of a potential move.
Guimaraes had informed Newcastle earlier this summer that he wanted to join Arsenal if a suitable offer was made. The Gunners' initial bid was rejected, but negotiations have now progressed towards an agreement.
The 28-year-old is regarded as one of the Premier League's most complete midfielders, combining defensive strength, creativity, passing ability and goal contributions.
If the transfer is completed, Guimaraes will join an Arsenal midfield group featuring Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
