IMF Says Ghana Has Made Progress in Restoring Economic Stability

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says Ghana has made significant progress in restoring macroeconomic stability and improving debt sustainability under the IMF-supported Economic Credit Facility (ECF) programme.

The Fund says the programme has helped ease financing pressures through measures including fiscal consolidation, improved monetary policy credibility, stronger international reserves and debt restructuring.

According to the IMF, these interventions have contributed to stabilising Ghana's economy and strengthening the country's financial position.
