A heavy security presence has been deployed at Obuasi Senior High Technical School in the Ashanti Region after students allegedly assaulted the headmaster and vandalised school property.
The headmaster, Abdullai Zakari, is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, while the Ghana Police Service investigates the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities are working to restore calm on campus and establish the facts behind the alleged confrontation between students and school management.
