A year after the August 6 helicopter crash, residents of Sikaman-Brofoyedru say several promises made by the government following the tragedy remain unfulfilled.

Some residents, who supported rescue efforts after the crash, say expectations raised after the incident have not been met.

Gideon Oduro, one of the young people who was promised recruitment, has expressed disappointment over delays in fulfilling the commitment.

The concerns come as the community continues to remember the tragedy that claimed eight lives and left a lasting impact on residents.
