Upper West REGSEC Visits Wechiau Over Death of Youth Leader Abu Tijani

The Upper West Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has visited Wechiau in the Wa West District to commiserate with the family of late youth leader Abu Tijani and assure residents of a transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
The visit forms part of efforts to engage the bereaved family and the community following concerns over the incident.
The Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Yiribaare, said the investigation by the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) will be conducted fairly and independently.
He assured residents that the process will be handled with professionalism as authorities work to establish the facts surrounding Abu Tijani's death.
