UK grants transgender exclusion in single-sex bathrooms

A new law has gone into effect barring transgender people from single-sex spaces, such as bathrooms and locker rooms. An updated Statutory Code of Practice from the UK Equality and Human Rights Commission lays out that trans individuals can be lawfully excluded from single-sex spaces, following a landmark UK Supreme Court ruling.
