Acting Defence Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has paid tribute to the late Defence Minister Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, describing him as a patriotic and selfless leader dedicated to strengthening the Ghana Armed Forces.
Speaking at the maiden annual public lecture held in honour of Dr Omane Boamah, Dr Ato Forson said the late minister had a strong vision for the transformation of the Armed Forces and would have achieved more if he had lived longer.
He highlighted Dr Omane Boamah's commitment to national service, leadership and efforts aimed at improving Ghana's defence sector.
