NPA Assures Fuel Supply Stability Despite Rising Prices at the Pumps

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has assured consumers that Ghana has adequate fuel stocks to meet demand across the country.
The assurance comes amid rising fuel prices driven by international oil market pressures and the depreciation of the cedi against major currencies.
In response to the price pressures, government reduced the regulatory margin on diesel by GH¢2 per litre as part of measures to cushion consumers and provide some relief to diesel users.
The NPA says industry stakeholders, the regulator and government are closely monitoring developments in the petroleum sector as they work to manage the impact of global and domestic factors on fuel prices.
