Accra Airport Terminal 2 Renovation to Be Completed by December 2026

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) says renovation works on Terminal 2 of the Accra International Airport are expected to be completed by December 2026.
The $15 million renovation project is aimed at upgrading Terminal 2 to accommodate both domestic and international flights, as part of efforts to improve airport operations.
The upgrade is expected to help ease the increasing passenger congestion currently being experienced at Terminal 3 and improve service delivery at Ghana's main international gateway.
The Managing Director of GACL, Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, disclosed this during a briefing for members of Parliament's Roads and Transportation Committee as part of their oversight visit to the airport.
