The death toll from the Birimso Bridge road crash in the Eastern Region has risen to three after an 11-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries.
The victim was among casualties referred to the Hawa Memorial Hospital in Osiem following the crash.
Two people died at the scene after the accident, which involved multiple vehicles, while other injured victims remain on admission receiving medical care.
The Ghana National Fire Service has been providing updates on the incident as investigations continue into the cause of the crash.
The Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Fire Service, DO3 Aaron Ohemeng, has been speaking on the latest developments.
