The legacy of the late Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has been celebrated with calls for his values of service, patriotism, humility and leadership to continue inspiring future generations.
At the maiden public lecture held in his honour, Acting Defence Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, said the event will preserve the ideals and principles that defined Dr. Omane Boamah's life, including his commitment to integrity, national service and strengthening the Ghana Armed Forces.
He described the late former Defence Minister as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to Ghana's defence and national development remain significant.
Dr. Emmanuel Adu-Sarkodee, Akwamu Manwerehene and Chairman of the lecture, also highlighted Dr. Omane Boamah's deep patriotism, saying he was fiercely committed to Ghana's progress and could not understand actions that undermined the country's national assets.
Meanwhile, Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Akesseh reflected on Dr. Omane Boamah's leadership class, stressing that true leadership goes beyond titles and positions, but is measured by responsibility, humility and positive impact.
The lecture brought together stakeholders to reflect on the life, values and enduring legacy of a public servant remembered for his dedication to Ghana's transformation.
