NACOC arrests 10 KTU students over alleged trafficking of cannabis-infused products

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested ten students of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) for allegedly producing, distributing and selling cannabis-infused drinks and ice creams during the Students' Representative Council (SRC) Hall Week celebrations.

The intelligence led operation was carried out as part of NACOC's ongoing efforts to crack down on illicit drug trafficking. The arrests were made during the Hall Week festivities held between July 31 and August 1, 2026.
