The Administrator of Ghana's Sports Fund, Dr. David Wuaku, is calling for an attitude change towards sports development in the country.
His comments follow Team Ghana's disappointing campaign at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, where Ghana secured just two medals.
This performance marks a decline from the five medals won at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
Dr. Wuaku believes Ghana must adopt a new approach towards sports, including how athletes are supported, prepared and developed to compete successfully on the international stage.
