GH¢2 Billion Was Collected to Clean Ghana. So Why Is Accra Still Filthy?

We collected over GH¢2 billion since 2021, specifically to keep this city (Accra) clean. So today, we went out to film exactly what's sitting in Accra's markets, drains, stations, and streets. We didn't have to look hard.

This episode is about two things at once: where that money actually went, and what part of this filth has nothing to do with money at all.

Because here's the honest truth: government owes us an account of nearly half a billion cedis. But a lot of what we filmed today didn't happen because a fund wasn't released, it happened because someone decided the ground was easier than the bin. Both are true. Only one costs money to fix.
