President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to restructure the governance framework of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) to insulate its operations from political interference.
Speaking during the commissioning of TOR's refurbished Crude Distillation Unit and the receipt of the refinery's first crude oil from the Jubilee Field, the President reaffirmed government's commitment to improving the refinery's operational efficiency, transparency and commercial viability.
The reforms are expected to strengthen TOR's long-term sustainability and support Ghana's energy sector.
