One month after devastating floods displaced hundreds of residents of Ebenezer, a suburb of Akweley in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, many affected families say they are still waiting for support.
Residents blame the flooding on the absence of proper drainage channels, saying repeated appeals to the authorities have yet to produce lasting solutions.
As they continue to deal with the impact of the disaster, they are calling on government and relevant agencies to urgently intervene to prevent future flooding and provide relief for affected households.
