DOJ drops reflecting pool charges despite Trump's repeated claims of vandalism
The Department of Justice has moved to drop felony charges against ex-Olympian David Hearn, whom the administration accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Prosecutors say that the pool was actually damaged as a result of flawed installation by the contractor, even though President Trump repeatedly tried to blame "vandals" and "saboteurs."
