Dagbon Regent to Undergo Private Customary Rites Before Public Outdooring
The Chief of Lamashegu has announced that the Dagbon Regent will first undergo private customary rites, including the traditional shaving ritual, before being publicly outdoored.
He appealed to chiefs, dignitaries and attendees to observe discipline and respect the customs surrounding the installation ceremony.
The rites form part of the traditional processes leading to the official public presentation of the Regent at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi.
