NACOC Warns Licensed Cannabis Firms to Follow Strict Regulations
The Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Major General Maxwell Obuba Mantey, has announced the issuance of licences to two companies to cultivate cannabis for medicinal and industrial purposes.
He cautioned the companies to strictly comply with all regulatory requirements governing cannabis cultivation, warning that failure to do so could attract sanctions.
The move forms part of Ghana's efforts to regulate the cultivation and use of cannabis for approved medicinal and industrial purposes.
