AMA Cracks Down on Rawlings Park Vendors Over Clean-Up Exercise Violation
Several food vendors at Rawlings Park in Accra have been fined GH¢1,000 each by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) for failing to suspend trading and participate in the National Sanitation Day exercise.
The enforcement exercise forms part of efforts by the AMA to ensure compliance with sanitation directives and encourage residents and businesses to support efforts to keep public spaces clean.
Authorities have urged traders and residents to actively participate in sanitation exercises to improve hygiene and environmental conditions across the city.
