Trump's bad decision on defense secretary comes back to bite him

Maybe if you had a really extraordinarily capable commander in chief you might be ok with somebody at the Pentagon who had no idea what he was doing. But in this case you've got Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth, playing with the U.S. military like it's a cross between G.I. Joe and beer pong. Donald Trump made a bad decision in the important matter of selecting a secretary of defense. Now the bill is coming due.
