Dzorwulu Highway Accident: One of Five Children in ICU Dies

One of the five children receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Police Hospital following the Dzorwulu Highway accident has died.
A member of the Public Relations Department of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Assistant Divisional Officer One Alex King Nartey, confirmed that the young lady passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident occurred on the Accra Mall–Dzorwulu stretch of the N1 Highway, when a tipper truck collided with a school bus carrying pupils.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the condition of the other injured children receiving treatment, while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
