Thousands of mourners gathered at the Black Star Square in Accra on Friday for the final funeral rites of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the founder and leader of Kristo Asafo Mission and founder of Kantanka Automobile.
The ceremony brought together traditional leaders, dignitaries, members of the Kristo Asafo Mission and family members, who paid their final respects to a figure widely recognised for his contributions to religion, innovation and Ghana's automobile industry.
The final rites were held despite an ongoing High Court injunction seeking to restrain aspects of the funeral ceremony, following a dispute over the burial arrangements.
Mourners at the event celebrated the life and legacy of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, describing him as a visionary whose work influenced many across Ghana and beyond.
