Kintampo South MP Donates GH¢60,000 to Restore Grounded Ambulance

The Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Joseph Kwame Kumah, has donated GH¢60,000 to the National Ambulance Service to procure a new engine for the constituency's ambulance, which has been grounded for the past three months.

The MP said health facilities within the Kintampo township have struggled to transport critically ill patients to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi and the Tamale Teaching Hospital due to the lack of a functioning ambulance.

Presenting the cheque to the Ambulance Service, Joseph Kumah said the intervention would significantly enhance emergency healthcare delivery and ensure timely referral of patients requiring specialist treatment.
