Bantamweight boxer Amadu Mohammed has earned Ghana's second medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

The reigning African Games champion saw his gold medal hopes come to an end after a split decision defeat to Australia's Dixon Jye in the semi-final.

Despite the setback, Amadu Mohammed's performance secures a place on the podium and adds to Ghana's medal tally at the Games.
