Government to Cover Medical Bills of Children Injured in Dzorwulu School Bus Crash

The government has pledged to pay the medical expenses of children injured in Thursday's road crash on the Dzorwulu–Accra Mall road, involving a school bus and a tipper truck.
The assurance was given by the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, during a visit to some of the injured children at the 37 Military Hospital.
Dr. Lartey described the accident as tragic and assured parents that the government would take full responsibility for the medical costs of the injured children.
Meanwhile, one of the children injured in the crash died in the early hours of Friday after succumbing to injuries sustained in the accident.
