Parliament Approves Return of Road Tolls Under New Electronic System

Parliament has approved a concession agreement for the reintroduction of road and bridge tolls under a Public-Private Partnership arrangement.
The agreement establishes a framework for mobilising private sector investment to develop, operate and maintain a modern electronic tolling system across the country.
Contributing to the debate in Parliament, the Member of Parliament for Bimbilla, Dominic Nitiwul, expressed support for the move.
