Kristo Asafo Lawyers Consider Next Move After Funeral Defies Court Injunction

Lawyers for the Kristo Asafo Mission are considering their next line of action after the funeral of Apostle Professor Emeritus Kwadwo Safo Kantanka proceeded despite a 10-day interim injunction granted by an Accra High Court.

Speaking to Channel One News, lawyer for the Kristo Asafo Mission, Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka, said the legal team is meeting with the wider family to determine the next course of action.

He added that the injunction restraining former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo from proceeding with the funeral arrangements remains in force, while her application to set aside the order is scheduled to be heard on August 19.
