The Kuga Naa, head of the kingmakers of Dagbon, has arrived at the Naa Gbewaa Palace in Yendi ahead of the installation of the Regent of the Dagbon Kingdom.
The arrival marks a significant stage in the traditional succession process, as kingmakers and traditional authorities gather to oversee the customs leading to the establishment of the regency.
The Regent will be expected to oversee the affairs of Dagbon until the final funeral rites of the late Yaa Naa are performed and a new Overlord is selected.
