Ambassador Victor Gbeho Laid in State at State House Ahead of Final Funeral Rites

The late statesman and former Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador James Victor Gbeho, has been laid in state at the forecourt of the State House ahead of his final funeral rites.

The ceremony marks an opportunity for family, government officials, diplomats, traditional leaders and members of the public to pay their last respects to a distinguished diplomat who contributed significantly to Ghana's public service and international relations.

Ambassador Gbeho's career spanned decades of diplomatic service, including his role as Ghana's representative in international affairs and his tenure as Foreign Affairs Minister.

The laying in state forms part of activities to honour his life, service and enduring legacy.
