Government-sponsored Ghanaian students in the United Kingdom have staged a protest at the Ghana High Commission in London, demanding the payment of more than 40 months of outstanding stipends.

The students say the prolonged delays have left many in financial hardship and are calling on the government to urgently settle the unpaid allowances.

The protest follows growing concerns among scholarship beneficiaries over delays in the release of stipends, with students urging authorities to act swiftly to prevent further disruption to their studies and welfare.
