Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Johnson Asiama, says Ghana's pension assets have exceeded GH¢100 billion, highlighting the growing importance of the sector in supporting long-term economic development.
Dr. Asiama said pension funds should not only provide retirement security but also be strategically leveraged to support sustainable economic growth.
He noted that with effective management and investment, pension assets can contribute to financing critical areas of the economy while creating value for contributors and the wider economy.
