Ghana’s Evonne Britton Books Spot in 100m Hurdles Final After Strong Run

Ghana's Evonne Fatimah Britton has qualified for the women's 100m hurdles final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after an impressive performance in the heats.
Britton finished fourth in Heat One with a time of 12.78 seconds, securing one of the qualification spots for the final.
She finished behind Jamaica's Kerrica Hill, South Africa's Marione Fourie, and Nigeria's Tobi Amusan, who won the heat with a time of 12.19 seconds.
The Ghanaian athlete will return to the track for the final as she targets a place on the podium and hopes to add to Ghana's medal hopes at the Games.
