Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has expressed satisfaction with his team's performance after Ghana's opening match at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Black Queens made a strong start to their campaign with a 2-0 victory over tournament debutants Cape Verde in their Group C opener at the Moulay Rachid Stadium.
Speaking after the match, Kim Lars praised the team's display but said the squad will focus on improving its finishing ahead of their next fixture.
The coach believes sharpening their attacking efficiency will be key as Ghana continues its pursuit of success at the tournament.
