The Court of Appeal has acquitted and discharged former Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) Chief Executive Officer Sedina Tamakloe, overturning her conviction by the High Court.
The appellate court set aside the earlier judgment that found Ms. Tamakloe guilty of causing financial loss to the state and other related offences.
The ruling effectively clears the former MASLOC CEO of all the charges for which she had previously been convicted and sentenced, marking a significant development in one of Ghana's high-profile public sector legal cases.
