The government has endorsed key recommendations from the Constitutional Review Committee (CRC), including extending the terms of the President and Parliament from four years to five years and lowering the minimum age requirement for presidential candidates to 35 years.
Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine says the proposed reforms are aimed at giving governments more time to implement policies and improve governance outcomes before facing voters at the polls.
