FIFA's World Cup sell-off: European associations meeting to plan response

European football's governing body is leading global opposition to FIFA plans to sell stakes in the World Cup. UEFA says a “line has been crossed” and has convened an emergency meeting for later on Thursday. FIFA believes private investment can help fund football development.
