The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Legal Affairs, Gary Nimako, has shared the party's position on the Supreme Court's decision concerning Ghana's political parties' delegate-based voting systems.
Speaking on Point of View, Gary Nimako argued that the court did not declare the entire delegate system unconstitutional, but rather raised concerns about limiting the voting rights of ordinary party members and issues surrounding possible monetisation and corruption within the system.
He said the NPP disagrees with aspects of the ruling and is awaiting the full judgment before making a detailed response.
