Tema Newtown Demolition: Hundreds of Residents and Fishmongers Displaced

Hundreds of residents and fishmongers have been displaced following a demolition exercise at the Tema Newtown fish processing site.

While some of those affected are expected to receive assistance from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), others say they may have no choice but to return to their hometowns after losing both their homes and sources of livelihood.

The demolition has left many families uncertain about their next steps as authorities assess the situation and relief efforts begin.
