Sen. Richard Blumenthal touts Graham’s bipartisan Russia sanctions bill

On Tuesday, the Senate advanced a bipartisan bill championed by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, imposing sanctions on Russia and penalizing countries that buy the majority of Russian oil and enable sanctions evasion. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-CT, who worked with Graham on the bill, predicts President Donald Trump will sign the legislation, telling Morning Joe that one of Graham's “last shining accomplishments” was persuading Trump to support Ukraine with "these crushing sanctions and tariffs.”
