Tema Newtown Fish Site Demolition: NADMO to Support Affected Fish Processors

The Tema East Sub-Metro Director, Abdul Latif Amin, says persons affected by the demolition exercise at the Tema Newtown fish processing site will receive support from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).

The support is expected to assist fish processors and other affected persons following the demolition exercise, which was carried out due to concerns over unsanitary conditions at the site.

Authorities say the intervention forms part of efforts to address the impact of the exercise while improving sanitation standards in the area.
