Members of the Bank of Ghana's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) unanimously voted to maintain the Monetary Policy Rate at 14% during their July meeting, citing rising inflationary pressures, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the need to safeguard macroeconomic stability.

In detailed submissions released by the central bank, MPC members noted that although Ghana's economy continues to show resilience, emerging domestic and external risks require a cautious monetary policy stance.
