Team Ghana athletics captain Joseph Paul Amoah says the team remains determined to give its best despite missing out on medals during the opening days of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Amoah made an impressive start to his individual campaign by winning Heat One of the men's 200 metres in a time of 20.36 seconds, securing automatic qualification for the semi-finals.
Speaking after the race, the Ghanaian sprinter expressed confidence in his chances of progressing further in the competition and believes Team Ghana can still make a strong impact as the Games continue.
