Joe Manchin reveals new plan to DISRUPT the 2-party system

A year and a half after leaving office, Former Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia is launching a new campaign. The democrat-turned-independent is joining forces with his daughter, Heather Manchin, to launch 'The Independent Leadership Council' with the goal of helping elect more independent lawmakers to congress. They argue that with Congress so divided, even a small number of independent members could have significant leverage in the House and Senate and claim that the independent candidates they help elect will not caucus with Democrats or Republicans. They join Morning Joe to discuss their new campaign.
