'Miracle' giraffe birth described as first of its kind

Meet Milani, a premature giraffe born by C-section at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Kansas in what caretakers say may be a scientific first.

After her mother, Virtue, developed life-threatening pregnancy complications, the wildlife park consulted with experts from across the country to determine whether the calf could be saved.
