IMF confident Argentina will pay debt in 2027
IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva said she was confident that Argentina would be able to make its debt payments next year. The Latin American country has been the IMF's largest debtor, with a staggering $58 billion in outstanding loans. Georgieva, however, praised Argentine President Javier Milei's austerity policies.
