A driver has been remanded into custody for two weeks after allegedly crashing into pedestrians at Bukom in Accra, resulting in the death of one person and leaving 22 others seriously injured.

The incident is believed to have occurred after the vehicle reportedly suffered brake failure, causing the driver to lose control and hit pedestrians in the area.

The driver's remand follows investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash and efforts to establish responsibility.
