Electrical Fault Suspected as Fire Destroys Home at Tema Christian Village

A family has been left devastated after a fire destroyed their single-room residence at Tema Christian Village, near Chrisbeat School, leaving them homeless and without most of their belongings.
The fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault, broke out while the female occupant had stepped out to purchase food items.
Eyewitnesses say residents quickly responded after noticing smoke and flames coming from the room. With support from teachers of the nearby Chrisbeat School, efforts were made to contain the blaze until personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service arrived and brought the situation under control.
The combined response prevented the fire from spreading to nearby structures, but the affected family has lost essential belongings and is seeking support.
