Ghanaians Evacuated From South Africa Arrive Home Amid Xenophobic Attacks

A new group of Ghanaian nationals, including children, has arrived at the Accra International Airport under the second phase of the government's evacuation exercise from South Africa.
The operation follows ongoing anti-foreigner attacks and xenophobic violence, which have heightened safety concerns for Ghanaians living in the country.
The second phase of the evacuation, which began on Sunday, July 26, is expected to bring home approximately 1,000 Ghanaians who have requested to return to Ghana.
