Patrick Boamah Accuses Ato Forson of Sole-Sourcing Multi-Million Cedi Projects

The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Boamah, has accused Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson of being complicit in the sole-sourcing of three major government projects.

Speaking during the debate on the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review, Patrick Boamah alleged that a $250 million road construction project, a GH¢200 million military barracks at Ajumako, and an GH¢850 million specialist hospital at Ajumako are all being executed through single-source procurement.

The allegations have added to parliamentary debate over transparency, procurement practices and public spending.
